Foundation lineages

Glencarrig Oscar, Irish Connemara stallion was born 2004. His grand-sire is Cloonisle Cashel Sireline side and Commanding Hero Damline side, Glencarrig Oscar he brings together in his pedigree all the greatest chefs of the Connemara Breed in Ireland.


He has the lineages of Connemara Boy, Cannon Ball, Black Paddy, Mountain Lad as well as the founding thoroughbreds of the Connemara bred : Little Heaven, Naseel (Psar), Buckna et Winter.


Glencarrig Oscar had few foals unlike his sire Glencarrig Prince, who has a hundred and including 7 stallions Class 1 : Coosheen Finbarn Monaghanstown Prince (sire of Greevebrack Storm stallion in Australia), Glencarrig Oscar and Glencarrig Patrick, winners at Clifden

Glencarrig Prince had many successful foals both under the saddle and in show. Especially Glencarrig Joey as a sire of dam, winner in 2017 at the Clifden Connemara pony Show puissance and 2nd in 2018, also performer on 120 events.

As a sire, he produced Charlie, winner of the " 3yo all Ireland Loose Schooling Champion", winner of her class at the "Riding Club Festival", or Glencarrig Rocco, 3rd at Hoys.

Class 1 Connemara mare


Ballycorick Sunshine, was born in Ireland in 2004, her sire is Laerkens Cascade Dawn, remarkable Irish stallion was born in 1991.

Laerkens Cascade Dawn, is sold at 2yo in Denmark where he passes the tests and is approved stallion. In 2000, he is bought by Joe McNamara for Ireland.

Offspring side, Cascade Dawn is the Sire of 13 stallions in Ireland (Mountain Cascade, Moorland Snowy River, Derrylough Larry, True Commotion...) Gentle Cascade (UK), Bunowen Castle Mick (FRA), Norlunds Carreras (DNK). He is the grand-sire of Wirthsmüle Delaney's stallion and performer in dressage in Denmark.

His progeny has been widely at Clifden : Foal Champion 2003 & 2004, Supreme Champion 2010, Reserve Visitor Champion 2011 & 2012, Junior Champion 2013, Reserve Supreme Champion 2016. Ponies are good too under the saddle : Hillside Joseph, winner in LB dressage and LB jumping or Lusmagh Avitor, winner of "Poys Elite Final" 2018 and 5th at the "Silver League Final" 2018.

Dam of Sunshine, Ballybawn, is by Boden Park Finnard, Sire of Moorland Lady Jane, Supreme Champion. He is the full brother to Abbeyleix Fionn, winner 5 times at Clifden.

  •  Délia is Class 2 (151cm) with an average of 15,26.


In Sport

  • Délia was never valued under the saddle.



Délia produced Iceberg d'Agora by Linsfort Barney (breeder Alain Perrard at Agora Stud) who will be valued as a stallion.

She didn't fill with Canon Ball Briovère in 2019 and 2020; she came back to her owner.
