breeding history
" The choice of Connemara pony appeared as obvious. A friendship since childhood to which has been added the love of sport and the desire for a family adventure.
Breeding is a passion. We throw ourselves into it as if we are crossing a river in a raw, with on the shore, on the front line, all our hopes and dreams."
Pony for children, family pony, sport pony, traveling companion; The Connemara pony is also adapted for recreational riding, as well as high level in sport competitions. He is also the friend for whom even adults can entrust their biggest sorrows and greatest victories.
His versatility is exceptional. He is suitable for both children and adults. Reliable and kind, with a constant mind, brave and generous are all qualities that make him the perfect pony for the whole family and all riders. With a real pony look, thick coat, dense horsehair, a specific breed type for this nice pony native from Ireland, the Connemara stands out from other ponies.
Our breeding adventure emerged in 2015 but we only bought our first foals for breeding in 2016: a very strong gray filly by Idéfix du Villlon with a mother line by Ice and Fire d'Albran. But also, our biggest favorite in breeding, a very chic black yearling colt Meingold Mystical Thunderbird, born in Germany and who gets the title of Junior Champion at only 1yo. Now stallion at our stud, he is one in a million.
Since our installation in January 2017, two mares and a filly came to enlarge our livestock, with a promising yearling colt that will be valued as a stallion.
We have a pronounced affection for originality, daring, rare and unpublished papers with the import of blood from Germany and Denmark in addition to our French and Irish pedigrees.
We focus on ponies with the best locomotion as possible. Ponies with charisma, elegance, harmonious style and exemplary mind. Elasticity, flexibility, blood, abilities in loose jumping... We are definitely turning to the Connemara sport pony.
It's very important for us to breed nice and easy ponies, versatiles and skilled in the 3 disciplines: dressage, show jumping and cross country.
